I have taken very little action towards my project recently due to the extensive amount of coursework I have in my other A levels. Now all I am doing is pushing the date in which I start recording my scripted speech to add to my documentary. My Gaant chart states that I should have already started but my next step needs to be structuring my documentary and writing, an essay almost of what I am going to include in to my documentary. I have several files that I wish to use in my documentary but I need to find a lot more if I wish to extend my documentary past a few minutes. I also need to structure the documentary in a way that is more organised than simply rambling on about amateur rugby, I need to create subsections which highlight key areas of change. In addition, my mid-project review is coming up and I need to prepare for it, I have made cue cards with areas I have covered but I need to revise my work so that I am ready to answer any questions they throw at me. I do not think a PowerPoint is necessary because it is an informal interview so perhaps printing out a few sheets that I can hand to the administrators would be useful. So there is plenty to be getting on with it is just about patience and finding the time to complete it.

I have began to prepare for my mid-project review in which I am interviewed about my project and how I have done up to this point (changes I've made, improvements etc.). I have planned and written out cue cards that I will use as prompts for explaining what I have done so far and also what I plan to do in the future. I will of course expand on this but I won't be using unnecessary components such as a power point. I will bring in the autobiography of Rory Underwood which I have purchased and have been using and I will probably bring in my book on the History of the World Cup, to show the sources that I have been obtaining my information from. I have also began to specifically reference sections of the video footage I am using from YouTube etc. by copying out the URL of the video as well as indicating exactly where in the video the clip I am using is from. The next step for my project is to start placing it all together and piecing together the footage with my voice and writing a brief plan of my documentary to structure it in a specific way that allows me to produce it with ease as appose to thinking on the spot and making rash uneducated decisions. I also need to write the plan for my 1000 word essay to accompany my artefact.

The past week has been rather non-progressive for me aside of obtaining further knowledge surrounding plagiarism which was a concern of mine. Little has been done towards my project due to the high demand for revision in my other projects however, according to my time planning I should now be recording myself reading out sections of my documentary that I have written out and obtain clips from YouTube etc. that would apply to my project. However, I have already bean to do this and will continue my search for them, it also says I should be getting plagiarism sorted with my project by referencing books, articles and web pages which I have already done, I now need to add them to the end of the documentary or simply print them out as a word document to hand in alongside my 1000 word essay. My future plans still include completing my source analysis despite the fact I have already selected my useful information, I need to explain why I selected the data I did. Another useful action to take would be to obtain further primary data for my project, but apart from this I am currently in good shape and on track going in to March. The picture above is simply a screen grab of my reference list as it currently stands, I will need to add to it as I never completed it as I researched.
